This August at Pembroke Days, we kicked off the countdown to our community’s 150th anniversary, to be celebrated in 2027.
Over the three-day event, the Pembroke community honored the history of Pembroke and the pride for our people with a Children’s Parade, a day in Martin Luther King Park, a Cruise honoring Vermel Lockett, and a special Sunday Service and softball game.
Pembroke Days was fun for the whole family, with nearly 75 people in attendance, the multi-day event was a celebration of our community’s sense of pride for today and promise for the future.
Our community continues to grow and strive for improvement. Our rich history and years of resilience and unity are worth celebrating. Now that we’ve officially kicked off the road to 150, join us at other community events.
